Rediscover Yourself – A Journey

Started a journey towards the unknown
to understand how I could handle the situation
without any help or support
carrying my weight all along

I faced many challenges in this part
they were unique and funny at the same time
this made me think how wonderful challenges are
they push me and make me a whole new person
all at the same time

These challenges when i overcame them,
i felt satisfaction and sort of relief
knowing I did push myself from the valley
but managed to land safe with some scratches

I created a habit to push myself in different horizons
to understand and learn how to deal with situations,
because life is a journey and when we set out
it’s always a learning curve even if we think
we have reached the pinnacle

The best thing you could do I feel is
spread your story across and share
your difficulties and how you overcame them
so that many don’t  face the bruises
which you did happily with a smile

Together as Support

Rewinding back the memory lanes, sometimes you generally tend to get emotional about your past good or bad and those memories are what keeps you going, as a motivator to improve from your mistakes or a support that keeps you reminding that you must stay focus ahead with optimism, so on and forth, share a piece of Alan’s past which he still cherishes till today.

Alan was a hardworking individual working as a photographer at a leading magazine publication; his job was challenging and demanded him to go place and cover stories through his enchanting vision. Life was going good for Alan as he loved adventure and exploring the world, thou this was allowing him to explore the world but this also meant that he had to stay away from his family for long periods of time, which was the only regret Alan had, he was a family guy and living without them for such long periods was getting difficult for him, photography is all what he mastered in these many years and he could not afford to change profession as he was well settled.

Alan was finding it difficult to meet both ends, he didn’t want to compromise and wanted to give time and attention to both, for the first time Alan was not able to figure out a medium to this situation, thou he was a optimistic person but this situation demanded a decision and there was no one way he could think of considering both were close to his heart, Alan was broken from inside but didn’t express his feeling so that his family doesn’t come to know as it would make them week, finally Alan decided to share his difficulty with his photography mentor  for years and also a close friend James.

Alan explained James about his difficulties; it made him feel better that James was all ears to what he had to say, sipping a cup of dark coffee at  James open terrace flat, it was midnight and skies were glittering with stars, the cold wind made Alan week and he had tears in his eyes. James consoled him and said “Listen, Alan I know you are a mature individual and you have seen the world, I know it’s tough for you to manage this dilemma but I feel you are justifying both well, I don’t want to advice you anything but all I can say is see this as a dark stormy night and the other side of it as sunshine, you are earning for your family and ultimately you are keeping them happy, your non presence may be felt but you have to stay strong and never make them realize this.

Alan tried to gather himself from James optimistic advice, he appreciated James for understanding him and keeping him upright with optimism and help beating those blues, this conversation did wonders for Alan.

Life is always full of ups and downs, we always tend to adjust or welcome change, but sometimes we are not satisfied with things going on in our life and to beat the blues we look up to our family, friends relatives to have a conversation and talk it out, because together there is always solution.
