The Selfless Support

The persistence of trust is always promising
in the loyal eyes of the one you love,
Selfless is their soul
in pouring the bounty of love

Thou overlooking their feeling
to know, you are not capable,
to understand what they feel for you
doesn’t shatter them enough

Moving ahead and pilling those
bricks of love, trust and affection,
they build a castle for you
so that you stay in comfort

still, we are so caught up with ourself
we ignore their tireless efforts,
and heap up mountain of our worries
without thinking, will they cope up?

Just a small request, do comment on who is that special person in your life who has selflessly poured love, affection and support, could be any one, parents, siblings, friends, your life partner, pet or some admirer. Would love to know from you guys!

Love

Together as Support

Rewinding back the memory lanes, sometimes you generally tend to get emotional about your past good or bad and those memories are what keeps you going, as a motivator to improve from your mistakes or a support that keeps you reminding that you must stay focus ahead with optimism, so on and forth, share a piece of Alan’s past which he still cherishes till today.

Alan was a hardworking individual working as a photographer at a leading magazine publication; his job was challenging and demanded him to go place and cover stories through his enchanting vision. Life was going good for Alan as he loved adventure and exploring the world, thou this was allowing him to explore the world but this also meant that he had to stay away from his family for long periods of time, which was the only regret Alan had, he was a family guy and living without them for such long periods was getting difficult for him, photography is all what he mastered in these many years and he could not afford to change profession as he was well settled.

Alan was finding it difficult to meet both ends, he didn’t want to compromise and wanted to give time and attention to both, for the first time Alan was not able to figure out a medium to this situation, thou he was a optimistic person but this situation demanded a decision and there was no one way he could think of considering both were close to his heart, Alan was broken from inside but didn’t express his feeling so that his family doesn’t come to know as it would make them week, finally Alan decided to share his difficulty with his photography mentor  for years and also a close friend James.

Alan explained James about his difficulties; it made him feel better that James was all ears to what he had to say, sipping a cup of dark coffee at  James open terrace flat, it was midnight and skies were glittering with stars, the cold wind made Alan week and he had tears in his eyes. James consoled him and said “Listen, Alan I know you are a mature individual and you have seen the world, I know it’s tough for you to manage this dilemma but I feel you are justifying both well, I don’t want to advice you anything but all I can say is see this as a dark stormy night and the other side of it as sunshine, you are earning for your family and ultimately you are keeping them happy, your non presence may be felt but you have to stay strong and never make them realize this.

Alan tried to gather himself from James optimistic advice, he appreciated James for understanding him and keeping him upright with optimism and help beating those blues, this conversation did wonders for Alan.

Life is always full of ups and downs, we always tend to adjust or welcome change, but sometimes we are not satisfied with things going on in our life and to beat the blues we look up to our family, friends relatives to have a conversation and talk it out, because together there is always solution.

10710797_758717224221902_2726848845181051876_nThe movie revolves around “UCIL factory”  a American enterprise lead by Warren Anderson (Martin Sheen) who is the chairman and decision maker, the company has a pesticide plant in Bhopal being centrally located in the heart of India and subsidiary of water and other facilities from government.

The movie is well weaved in showing the human elements of emotions in condition of poverty and the need for money which leads Dilip (Rajpal Yadav), a rickshaw wala to work in Union Carbide factory to make ends meet, build his name in the ghetto and  to save funds for his sister’s marriage.

Motwani a budding news publisher who is on a mission but struggling to open the dusted black truth about dangers, safety and health hazards of UCIL’s factory gas which is taking a toll on lives surrounding the factory and city of Bhopal.

His mission gets wing when he comes across a young American journalist Eva Gascon (Mischa Barton)  who is in the city for other reasons, Motwani tells her about his struggle and tries to convince her to help him on his journey to disclose truth and asks her to meet the UCIL chairman Mr Anderson to know answers which are ignored deliberately for many reasons and keeping lives at stake.

Other sub characters have also done justice to their roles, like the lead actress and wife of Dilip (Tannishtha Chatterjee), the manager of the factory, safety officer at UCIL, Engineers, UCIL foreign staff and associates and other co actors have contributed to show and highlight the real life event.

A tale to tell, well screened by Ravi Kumar (Director and Script writer) and Team

Thou there has been many reviews and documentaries made on this tragic disaster but no one has able to capture the insights of what really happened that night and how the lives suffered that tragic night, also covering the before event which lead to this tragedy, the diplomacy of government, the reasons for UCIL to continue production despite knowing the aftermath of safety hazards is really something to look upto in the movie.10432989_776971639063127_3264961243010015204_n

“People suffered and died in thousands due to the biggest industrial chemical catastrophe on that December night of 1984, Thou 30 years passed by but the scar of no relief in form of any official statement or apology is still a far talk from both the state government and UCIL.

The pain, anguish, emotions of innocent lives are the form factors that the movie “Bhopal – a prayer for rain”  covers in the most realistic and significant way”

The movie preview was made possible by Indiblogger team  who tagged up with Bhopal a prayer for rain for a private screening of the movie.

On meeting a Stranger

When someone approaches a stranger, the vortex of thoughts strangle them to a limit!

Sharing a perspective:

I am a stranger trying hard

to understand the impossible

trying hard to know what is

and what’s not acceptable

You may want to trust me but

it’s hard to predict what you think

I am a stranger trying hard

to understand the feeling

When I thought I knew things

i was pulled back to eternity

just made me realize it’s a

deeper sea level of feelings

How strange is life in a way?

you don’t know how to judge things

even though you are trying hard

it just keeps on reflecting

He closed his eyes again as the ACP walked in and stood in front of him for the next few minutes all he could hear was laughter of a couple of men and he could guess what was coming next.

As the ACP came to the cell where Cyrus was, he was little confused what was the ACP going to interrogate now, as he was totally scrutinized from all sort of ways and angles possible by the in-charge inspector.

ACP entered the cell and spoke in a stern voice: “Cyrus try to recall the event, the case is at a crucial stage and many lives are at stake”, he added.

Cyrus in a tired voice: Sir, I understand the situation knowing many lives are at stake and I have repeated this a hundred times while I was interrogated by your inspector that I was totally unconscious and unaware of the situation and I would have given you the scenario and helped you in all ways possible if I even had a clue on what happened that day. Being a responsible lawyer and citizen I will never take law in my hands and try to help the police.

One of the constables came and disrupted the talk between ACP and Cyrus saying: “Sir, we have someone here who wants to meet Cyrus”.  ACP told constable: Tell them that they cannot meet Cyrus as he is not allowed to interact.

Cyrus was frustrated after hearing this from the ACP and pleaded him to at-least allow him to speak on phone, but the ACP interrupted saying that we cannot allow you to talk as it is treated as influencing and tampering evidence. As ACP was about the leave the cell, Cyrus recalled something and asked the ACP to wait.

As Cyrus started to recall some of the situations he could remember, he fainted flat on the concrete ground and was unconscious. ACP shouted loud for ambulance help to be the constables.

After a brief spell of attempts by the ACP to awake him to consciousness nothing seemed to work, even a few sprinkles of water on his face was to no avail.  Till the time the ambulance came and the support staff had to take him to the hospital.

ACP was worried about Cyrus’s health, as he wanted to know what Cyrus remembered which he wanted to tell him.

ACP asked the doctor about Cyrus’s Health, the doctor said that he is still under observation and the coming few hours will be crucial as they were suspected brain nerves dysfunction.
